The Universe and the Heaven Our Sharanas Saw and Have Shown Us

This presentations traces the mythological, religious and scientific concepts of the creation of our universe and compares them with the views expounded in the 12th Century by the Veerashaiva/ Lingayat Sharanas, who did not have the telescope to pierce though the void. The 20th Century Scientific scenario of the Big Bang theory entailing a tremendous burst of energy appears to be similar to the explosion of the pulsating Bindu and the release of the energy ((shakti). The talk also details and distinguishes the notion of the heaven and the hell found in the religions of the world and the singularly unmatched but real concepts that our sharanas have sung in their vachanas.
